The Australian Society of Rheology (ASR) is open to all who are practising or have an interest, in the field of Rheology. The purpose of the ASR is to provide a forum for rheologists from all persuasions and backgrounds and to educate and inform current and emerging rheologists. We are privileged to number amongst our members leading Australian rheologists from both academic and industrial backgrounds. Prominent rheologists are invited to conduct seminars, lectures and courses or workshops. Every two years the ASR organises a Conference on Rheology which provides an opportunity to present new results and developments in their field. The Society also provides financial support in the form of the Howard See Student Travel Award to assist student members to present at an international rheology conference.
